Tour Itinerary
Departure from Cusco at 5:30 AM in private vehicle. We journey through picturesque Andean valleys, visiting the ancient funerary towers of Ninamarca. Continuing past Paucartambo, we climb to Acjanaco (3,800 m), the gateway to Manu National Park. Descending into the lush cloud forest of San Pedro, we visit the active lek of the Andean Cock-of-the-Rock (Rupicola peruvianus), watching their vivid courtship display. We also spot Woolly Monkeys and crested quetzals before continuing to our eco-lodge in Pilcopata.
